Global Studio 1: Re-imagining Public Spaces

The online studio starts with a welcome and introduction, including an overview of the session, facilitator introductions, and a review of the agenda and tools. It features an invited speaker session on public spaces, decolonising through storytelling, and decolonial design thinking. Participants will use Miro Board for interactive sessions: a story mapping exercise to challenge existing narratives of public spaces and a collaborative mapping of related issues. The workshop concludes with a plenary reflection session to synthesise insights and experiences. Pre-readings are provided to prepare participants for the online engagement.
