Shaping the UCL Grand Challenge of Climate Crisis

Lakshmi Priya Rajendran was invited to present at the UCL Grand Challenges event. Her talk, titled “Decolonising the Climate Crisis and Action,” focused on the importance of challenging prevailing climate change narratives to ensure a just future. Lakshmi introduced the DECOLAB initiative, highlighting how its decolonial framework and interdisciplinary approach create significant opportunities for collaboration within UCL and beyond in the pursuit of climate justice. The event also featured presentations from UCL experts on climate change and an interactive workshop session, where participants collaborated to explore innovative and cross-disciplinary solutions to the climate crisis.
